What's the most you've ever saved in one trip to the supermarket/grocery store?

Did you buy a week's groceries for a family of 4 for under $20? Has there ever been a time when you didn't have to pay a dime of your own money? We want to hear about it below!

The most I've ever saved at the grocery store is 102%. I keep that receipt on my bulletin board :)Emily Helwig

Emily Helwig Once I got a $200 order down to $30 with coupons at Acme. Then I paid with a $50 Gift Card that I won, and they gave me the $20 back in cash. This was before plastic gift cards that you could reuse.

Since January I have saved $107.81 and I am usually in the supermarket every week to pick up something at Giant. Most of the savings is due to my Bonus card.

Emily Helwig I believe the most I have saved was right at $50. I ended up paying only $8, for a TON of stuff.

Emily Helwig I used to be able to save about 75% on my bill but that was when doubling and tripling coupons was more common. Our stores rarely do this now so it's more of a challenge.
